When the brain changes how it interprets the world, it changes how it experiences itself.
Restoring relational meaning comes before restoration of function!
At the Neuro-Coherence Institute™, we work with the Brain-Body Connectome™ — the distributed network through which your brain, body, and perception organize health, healing, and resilience together.
Welcome
I'm Dr. Anaiah Christensen, DC, PAK — chiropractor, Professional Applied Kinesiology practitioner, and founder of the Neuro-Coherence Institute™.
My clinical work is built around a guiding framework: the Brain-Body Connectome™ — a distributed, relational model of human health in which organs, fascia, neural circuits, biomechanics, and perception operate as an integrated network. Health is not the absence of symptoms. It is the capacity of a living system to maintain coherent relationship with the information it encounters.
The question at the center of my work is not "What is wrong with you?" It is:
How is your system organizing — and what has it had to give up to survive what it has been living through?
Your stress responses, compensations, fatigue, emotional patterns, and structural tensions are not random. They are the nervous system's best available interpretation of unresolved constraint. Symptoms are signals. And the body is never lying to you — it is doing exactly what it was organized to do.
What I offer is a clinical framework that can read that pattern, interpret it within your whole system, and help restore the conditions under which healing becomes possible again.
Whether you are navigating chronic dysregulation, brain fog, hormonal disruption, inflammatory patterns, trauma-related physiology, or complex multi-system presentations — this work is designed to move you from fragmentation toward coherence, and from survival toward embodied resilience.

Ho’omana
The heart behind what I do:
In Hawaiian, the word mana ("mah-nah") refers to spiritual power, vitality, or life force. Ho'o ("hoh-oh") means to make, activate, or bring into being. Together, Ho'omana names the restoration of living strength.
This is the heart beneath the framework.
The Brain-Body Connectome™ is a scientific and clinical model — but it is not only that. At its deepest level, the connectome describes what Ho'omana has always named: that healing is the restoration of relationship.
Between brain and body.
Between structure and physiology.
Between perception and meaning.
Between survival and purpose.
When a regulatory node becomes a dominant constraint — when the nervous system has had to reorganize around a persistent disruption — what gets lost is not just function. What gets lost is the body's capacity to participate fully in its own life.
Ho'omana is about recovering that capacity. Reducing interference. Restoring coherent relationship. Reconnecting the system with its own organizing intelligence.
Every modality in this practice — neurological assessment, chiropractic care, Applied Kinesiology, neuro-emotional work, myofascial therapy, frequency-based tools — is a way of participating in that restoration.
Ho'omana is the restoration of living strength — so the nervous system becomes more adaptive, the body more coherent, and healing more deeply integrated.
